  Kugler Automation GmbH Womako Maschinenkonstruktionen GmbH
1961 Walter Kugler founds Kugler Automation GmbH. First semi-automatic writing pad machine.  
1966 Machine for production of tear-off-calendars.  
1968 First paper punching machine.  
1972 Machine for production of suspension files. Machine for production of drawing pads.  
1973 First fully-automatic machine for the mounting of lever arch files. Hans Wohlfahrt founds Womako Maschinenkonstruktion GmbH
1977 First fully-automatic passport manufacturing line. First “multi-up” spiral binding machine.
1978 Machine for production of ring binders.  
1980 Machine for production of suspension files from the web.  
1983   First high-speed forming machine for double wire with 2500 loops/min.
1987 High-speed machine for the mounting of lever arch files with 65 cycles/minute.  
1989   Delivery of the 100th binding machine.
1996   Delivery of the 200th binding machine.
1997 Laser perforation of passports with 50 books/minute.  
1998   Flexible high-speed cutting machine for photo paper.
1999 Delivery of the 1.000th punching machine. First high-speed label cutting machine for wet glue applied labels.
1999 Merger of Kugler Automation GmbH and Womako Maschinenkonstruktionen GmbH to Kugler-Womako GmbH based in Nürtingen  
2000 Presentation of the highly flexible binding machine HS 542 at DRUPA.  
2001 Delivery of the 100th double wire forming machine.  
2002 Implementation of the ProPunch punching machines. Fully-automatic high-speed binding machine HS 525 for 2 - 6 up. Delivery of the 250th binding machine.  
2004 Presentation of the first fully-automatic binding line for plastic spiral bound products at DRUPA. Machine for chip-integration in passports. Acquisition of the Combina of Schäfer-Etiketten V GmbH labeling machines.  
2005 PassPort 4 machine for chip-programming in passports.  
2006 Presentation of the new high-speed double wire forming machine ProLoop at IPEX in Birmingham.  
2007 Kugler-Womako acquires the existing company premises in Nürtingen.
